good lord, he's back, at least a little :)

netbooks are great. i have an eeepc (900 model) that i got for super-cheap, put a custom linux install on it, and it's been the greatest thing for school and travel ever.

I got one of those eee PC things and never could figure out what to do with it. I ended up giving it to a friend who was interested in it. The difference in size between it and my MacBook just wasn't enough to overcome its deficiencies.
