Free $25 Outback Steakhouse Gift Card Contest, The Return
Your luck just improved. The $25 Outback gift card giveaway is back and I'm pulling the winner in a few short days. If only the state lottery had these kind of odds.

Since their NCAA Tournament offer went over well, I was given a fresh $25 gift card in hopes that I would mention it. Again, I could have just pocketed it for myself and enjoyed a delicious meal, but I'd rather show some love to my faithful NNDD readers. Plus, we all hate empty shills and the internet already has plenty of sites where that stuff goes on. I'm only interested if I can run it as a giveaway contest for you guys.

Outback Steakhouse wants you to bring dad in on 6/15 for a Father's Day meal. On the surface it's a restaurant I already frequent, so no stretch there. They sweeten the pot by giving you a free $10 off $25+ discount certificate with a code on your receipt that you validate at http://outback.com/dadsdaywhere. Dad will also be eligible to win an additional $100 gift card. The $10 off $25 certificate is valid 6/18 through 7/20.

Back to the giveaway. I'll be selecting one random comment in the Talk Back section of this post and sending them my $25 Outback gift card. Given that people are generally lazy and don't read down this far, I bet your odds will be around 1 in 20. Let's see how many people take ten seconds to qualify.

Contest Rules: One entry per person. I can only contact winners for address info if they register with a valid email address, so don't use a fake one! Your email address will not be shared or spammed, since I hate that stuff too. Contest ends 6/15/08. Open to US and Canadian addresses only. Void where prohibited, in case that actually applies. In the event of some grand screwup, prizes are not guaranteed. Mmmm, free steak. Again.

So, just how random does my comment need to be?

Would "The large hippo was afraid of the small ferret" be random enough?

Thanks for NNDD, it's one of the few deal sites that I follow in Google Reader. I like the smaller volume of interesting deals, instead of the large volume of forgettable stuff.

Mmmmmmm, Outback. My Dad would love that. We'd likely go anyway, but this GC would be nice.

BTW, love the site, check in on it a couple of times a week. It has led me to some great deals. Now maybe I'm spending on stuff I wouldn't otherwise be buying, but that's OK.

G'Day Mate, I'd do anything for a nice juicy steak at Outback, ya know. Well maybe not wrestle a 'gator -- unless it's on the menu, too (yum, Bloomin' Gator sounds realllly good). But I'll certainly keep on telling my mates how Niftyness.com/nndd has all the best deals, winner or not. Thanks, Mate, for considering my entry and hope I win.
